industry show tonight. I must say that as much as I love the band, I really really hate weekday shows.
I normally have to wake up at 6 every morning and inevitably with a weekday show I am home by 1am earliest. plus, it's summertime which guaranties that I will be drenched with sweat by the time I get home.
plus last night we rehearsed extra long because we were teaching a fill-in bass player his parts.
luckily he's really good, so it should rock tonight.
unfortunately he's in another band.
(which not only means that he can't join our band, but also it means that we will have to teach someone else all the music again. which just sucks)
so I’m pretty tired this morning.
all of this is not to mention that Lara has an upper respiratory infection and I think I might be getting it.
